Frequently Asked Questions
Weather: Sessions take place outside or in the barn, regardless of the weather. However, if there is severe weather or severe temperatures, we may have to reschedule, yet I would inform you ahead of time, and you are responsible for informing me ahead of time if you prefer to reschedule due to weather concerns. If the weather is uncomfortable for you for any reason, it is possible to have sessions in the barn or barn office that has heating and air conditioning.
Clothing and Shoes: Please dress appropriately for the weather, warm clothing and layers are especially important in the winter, and hats/sunscreen are useful in the summer. Please wear comfortable clothing that you do not mind may become dirty or smelling like barn animals!
Please note the paddocks can become buggy during warmer seasons, and always check yourself for ticks after a session!
Wearing the right footwear is very important: Closed toes shoes only. No sandals or flip flops are allowed at any time.
Boots are useful as the paddock can be muddy, especially after rain or snow!
Expectations: Each session is different yet will be relevant to your goals or intentions. Some sessions you may be near or touching the animals, other times you may be sitting, standing, or walking around. We may engage with the horses or be observing them as a herd. Sessions last anywhere from 45 to 60 minutes. There is a bathroom on site as well.
